The Manager Execution Performance will support the Head of Execution Performance Management in driving operational execution excellence by owning performance reporting, KPI governance, dashboarding, and analytical insights across ZYN and IQOS. The role ensures accurate, timely, automated, and insight‑driven visibility of commercial, in‑market, and execution KPIs used across Planning, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Demand Forecasting, and Commercial Strategy. Lead improvements in performance enablement through AI/ML innovation, dashboarding, and strong cross-functional integration to support strategic and operational decision‑making.

This role translates commercial plans, forecasts, and in‑market execution data into actionable analytics, enabling the organization to track progress vs. plan, optimize execution, and identify gaps and opportunities in real time. It serves as the operational engine behind commercial performance transparency and continuous improvement.

Your ‘day to day’:

    • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting for ZYN and IQOS, including performance packs, executive summaries. Drive ad-hoc deep-dive analytics to diagnose performance drivers, quantify opportunities, and recommend actions to commercial leadership.
    • Deliver execution scorecards and dashboards that monitor distribution, velocity, compliance, promo performance, and category share—directly supporting in‑market execution tracking.
    • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of KPIs by validating inputs, troubleshooting discrepancies, and maintaining metric definitions.
    • Provide variance analyses, forecasting insights, scenario modelling, and gap identification to support Commercial Strategy, Business Planning, Short- and Long-Term Plans, and business case development.
    • Partner with ID&A to design, develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards with aligned KPIs and standardized visuals ensuring consistent metric definitions across functions.
    • Support data model enhancements to reflect planning cycles (OB, S&OP, JBP inputs), promotional calendars, and execution scorecards.
    • Ensure dashboards support QBRs, monthly reviews, leadership updates, and in‑market execution tracking by providing high‑visibility readouts.
    • Identify and implement AI/ML automation opportunities such as smart alerts, anomaly detection, and narrative generation to improve automation and insight generation and reduce manual reporting workloads.
    • Partner with ID&A on predictive analytics and execution modelling (promo ROI, distribution drivers, price elasticity, competition signals).
    • Deploy automated signals and predictive insights to enhance commercial agility and early detection of risk or opportunity.
    • Align performance reporting with Demand Planning to ensure consistency across forecast, S&OP inputs, and reported KPIs.
    • Act as analytical integrator between Finance, Marketing, Sales, and RGM for unified category and execution performance views.
    • Work with Field Sales & Trade Marketing to incorporate POS, compliance, distribution, and activation metrics into reporting.
    • Standardize reporting templates, scorecards, and KPI definitions across functions.
    • Drive simplification of reporting processes by identifying redundant reports and improving automation.
    • Ensure reporting calendar discipline aligned with OB, QBR, and monthly cycles.

Who we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or related field)
    • 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, performance management, in-market execution, sales operations, or similar fields
    • Experience in CPG, retail, or regulated industries preferred
    • Understanding of CPG commercial levers (distribution, pricing, promo, activation, trade programs)
    • Experience in S&OP, forecasting KPIs, or commercial planning frameworks preferred
    • Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms, large datasets, and cross-functional performance reporting
    • Experience working with AI/ML applications, predictive analytics, or automated insight generation (preferred)
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
    • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
    • Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority
    • High accuracy, strong structural thinking, and process orientation
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial organization
    • Authorized to work in the U.S. now or in the future without sponsorship
