Job Description
Manager F&B position at Amara Lounge Service in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate organizational and administrative functions across the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring adherence to Jumeirah standards and objectives, and disseminate departmental goals to colleagues.
- Participate in the preparation of annual business and sales plans, monitor the profitability of F&B outlets, and provide solutions for improvement while ensuring each outlet's profitability.
- Aid in the development of ideas to increase F&B sales productivity, plan and implement effective sales and promotional activities, and identify market needs and trends for both resort guests and the local market.
- Contribute to building an efficient team through training, development, safety, and welfare initiatives, and participate in training programs to improve personal and departmental standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching, counseling, and discipline to colleagues, maintain appropriate records of education and training, and ensure staffing levels and competence are sufficient to meet organizational and customer needs.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines, and conduct regular checks and audits to maintain hospitality standards.
About You
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar leadership role within hospitality, ideally in a hotel or upscale dining environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong operational knowledge of restaurants, bars, and banquet operations, with a focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams while maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and achieving revenue targets.
