Urgently require Manager – Finance for a start-up based in Chennai
CA Inter / CMA Inter / MCOM/BCOM with 6-12 years experience in Financial Statements, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing and exposure to GST with a medium size company.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for Payment to vendors via Online NEFT Bank Transfers, GPay or any other online payment platforms(Including Employee advances)
- Review and Validate time sheets of resources in “Business operations” and prepare cost for activities based on the rate master.
- Responsible for accuracy and authenticity of expense submissions through Imprest.
- Responsible for consolidation of monthly “Cost of Operations”.
- Responsible for Monthly invoicing to clients based on the cost components
- Responsible for updating Billing register and follow-up of outstanding balances from Clients.
- Review and monitor GL Balances in ZOHO Books with supporting schedules for the account lines.
- Responsible for Monthly book closure process and Preparation of P&L Statement, Balance sheet
Job Requirements
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / Master or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 6-12years of experience in Transactional accounting and Financial Analysis.
- Exposure to GST and filing of returns.
- Prior experience and ability to synthesize large quantities of data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate and collaborate with others.
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel and entry level exposure to ERP systems.
- Good command over English writing and speaking is required
