Job Description

purpose Of Role:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in Modaraba operations as well as Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) finance functions. The ideal candidate should have deep financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and managing financial operations in a Modaraba or NBFI environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end financial operations in accordance with Modaraba and NBFI regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements as per IFRS, SECP, and Modaraba regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports to SECP, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and fund management for smooth business operations.
  • Supervise general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
  • Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
  • Support investment decisions by conducting financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/ACCA/CA Part-Qualified preferred).
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience, with mandatory experience in:
  • Modaraba sector, and
  • Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
  • Strong knowledge of SECP regulations, Modaraba Ordinance, and financial compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent command of MS Excel and financial management systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
