purpose Of Role:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in Modaraba operations as well as Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) finance functions. The ideal candidate should have deep financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and managing financial operations in a Modaraba or NBFI environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial operations in accordance with Modaraba and NBFI regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review financial statements as per IFRS, SECP, and Modaraba regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports to SECP, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and fund management for smooth business operations.
- Supervise general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
- Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
- Support investment decisions by conducting financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/ACCA/CA Part-Qualified preferred).
- 3–7 years of relevant experience, with mandatory experience in:
- Modaraba sector, and
- Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
- Strong knowledge of SECP regulations, Modaraba Ordinance, and financial compliance frameworks.
- Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent command of MS Excel and financial management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
