Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to support strategic planning and decision-making. Provide insights into business performance, manage financial models, and identify opportunities and risks to drive profitability and efficiency.
Main Accountabilities
- Actively seeks methods to enhance overall efficiency and performance, including day-to-day work within the project lifecycle or identifying organizational cost saving opportunities.
- Utilize new tools (e.g., ERP, EPM) to improve the quality and accuracy of periodic financial reporting and future planning.
- Work closely with project managers and segment heads on profitability analysis and financial indicators; propose action plans to improve overall profitability and asset utilization.
- Apply IFRS knowledge to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop, present, and oversee financial budgets on a quarterly, annual, and 5 year basis.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to set budget goals, track results, and compare against key financial targets.
- Support FP&A director on system automation projects.
- Prepare post evaluation for recent investments to derive learnings for future decisions.
- Evaluate new initiatives, quantify financial impact, and provide recommendations to decision makers.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for LT meetings.
Operating Environment
- Based in Jeddah.
- Dynamic, performance driven environment requiring continuous analysis, forecasting accuracy, and collaboration with multiple business units.
Communications & Working Relationships
- Reports to Director, Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Employee under a one year contract, renewable unless either party notifies.
- Works closely with Finance, Treasury, Accounting, and Project Development teams.
- Collaborates with Procurement, Development, Sales, and Human Resources.
- Engages with senior management and external auditors when required.
Framework, Boundaries & Decision Making Responsibility
- Operates under supervision of Director, FP&A.
- Limited decision making authority within approved budgets, policies, and reporting frameworks.
- Provides analytical recommendations and financial insights to support strategic business decisions while ensuring compliance with Kinan's financial governance standards.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5-7 years progressive experience in FP&A, preferably in real estate, investment, or development sectors.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- SOCPA certification is mandatory.
Required Languages & Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with high level ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Yardi, etc.).
- Exposure to AI.
