Position Summary

CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analytical Insights Manager (Individual Contributor) position. You will report to the Sr Manager of Analytical Insights. This position is open to fully remote candidates - WFH - anywhere in the U.S.

Our data strategy process support, case volume, call volume, staff production efficiency and Resource Planning is our business foundation for planning and driving efficiency. The building of this business allows us to support our business partners and members.

This position delivers the analytics and insights to support Clinical operations. This position is responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing data solutions using Google Cloud Platform. You will act as an internal analytics specialist, utilizing tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Teradata, Alteryx, GCP, Python, Tableau, Dataiku and other analytical tools. You will be the technical subject matter expert supporting data automation reporting from multiple data source connections, with a primary focus on GCP migration strategy. Our data sources include Novologix, CAS, MedHok, phone, and Verint data. The position will focus on automation of current manual data processes, as well as supporting data staging necessary for Tableau dashboards. These dashboards will support the prior authorization business insights and exception requests. You will work with various business partners in operations to gain an understanding of their needs and develop appropriate business logic metrics to be represented in Tableau KPIs.


Required Qualifications

A minimum requirement of 5+ years of experience with below qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge on Database Related Technologies such PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQLS, Stored Proc, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience creating SQL queries, packages, functions, and views for ad-hoc and recurring reports.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including SQL Server on GCP.
  • Advanced skills in ETL and reporting tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx, Python; exposure to Dataiku is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of multiple RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Teradata) and complex SQL report development.
  • Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
  • Understanding of database design principles, logical and physical data models.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience applying statistical methods (e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting) to operational or business datasets.
  • Ability to build and evaluate predictive models or machine learning workflows using Python libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, statsmodels, or NumPy.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and documentation best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess business impacts and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Agile mindset with a focus on delivering incremental value and incorporating feedback quickly.
  • Ability to learn new domains and data sources rapidly.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and proficiency with Dataiku tool.
  • Ability to enforce best practices.
  • Prior experience in PBM services, insurance, or healthcare.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience engaging with business stakeholders.


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
