Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., (ACT) is a global Fortune 200 company. A leader in the convenience store and fuel space, it has footprint across 31 countries and territories. The Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) is an integral part of ACT’s Global Procurement Back Office Team, and the Manager Global Contracts Life Cycle Management will be a key player in this team to help grow Sourcing globally at ACT and turn Procurement Sourcing to Excellence.
Global Contracts & Compliance department apply their functional knowledge to comply and assist the needs of contract compliance for the business.
The hired candidate will partner with functional stakeholders on Global/Regional/National/Local scale and close relation to Global Procurement and Finance functions.
About the role
Contract Lifecycle Manager (CLM) is responsible for lifecycle of contracts within the organization, from drafting and negotiation to execution, management, and renewal or termination. The main task is through own team implement CLM across the organization, implement procedures and processes to secure global contract compliance, and to contribute establishing support team in Gurgaon, India and daily support after implementation.
Key actives will be transformation and stakeholder management at global scale. Training of internal users and interaction with external vendors/partners through selected software are crucial success criteria. The Manager will with team members execute ownership of global Contract Lifecyle Management processes and software.
Roles & Responsibilities
Establish new contract templates:
Collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and other departments to draft, review, and finalize contracts.
Ensure that contracts are aligned with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Develop and maintain contract templates for efficiency and consistency.
Contract Management, Training and Support:
Manage and support ongoing contract life cycle’s to ensure user compliance with terms and conditions.
Train users and super users globally securing competence and knowledge in contract management.
Manage, resolve and support contract owner issues related to contract performance, including disputes, breaches, or violations
Ensure that contract templates comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Contract Renewals and Amendments:
Manage the contract renewal process by evaluating performance and determining the need for amendments or modifications.
Initiate renegotiations and amendments to contracts as necessary to meet evolving business requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement (GNFR and GFR), finance, legal, and other departments to ensure that contracts support company operations and objectives.
Provide training and guidance to team members on contract management best practices.
Operational Excellence
Excellent language skills.
Conduct specialist training and support for selected end users
Support processing connected to contract/catalogue/PO/invoices not matching
Support transformation and lead own projects to improve contract compliance to serve internal stakeholders
Utilizing software systems to manage Contract Management to excellence
Proposing changes to improve contract management in procurement processes
Partner with the CoE management team to cluster with Global procurement strategies entering procurement excellence and driving continuous improvement
Stakeholder Engagement
Working collaboratively across multiple sets of stakeholders – Global and Regional Procurement, B2B, Legal, Finance and Business functions
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Procurement and Supply Diploma level, etc.)
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM)
Relevant Experience
Total Experience: 12+ years
Experience implementation of CLM
5+ years as Contract team lead within Procurement/Finance Operations. Managing contract operational processes on larger scale
Strong leadership skills with proven track record in leading cross-functional teams
Contract template creation knowledge
Administrating approval workflows according to DOA policy

Ability to manage multiple contractual tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Willing to work non-traditional working hours, due to global time-zones.
