HR Manager
1. Job Summary
To lead the Human Resources function at the factory level, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the plant. The HR Manager will act as a bridge between management and the workforce, overseeing recruitment, payroll, industrial relations, and strict compliance with local labor laws (e.g., Factories Act 1934).
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
- Manage recruitment for skilled and semi-skilled factory workers (machine operators, foam cutters, sewing technicians, loaders etc.) and casual daily wagers.
- Shift Management: Oversee duty rosters, shift rotations, and attendance for multi-shift production cycle, ensuring zero disruption to the production line.
- Onboarding: Conduct factory-specific induction programs, including mandatory safety briefings and "Do’s and Don’ts" on the production floor.
B. Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Welfare
- Grievance Handling: Serve as the primary point of contact for worker grievances; resolve conflicts proactively to prevent strikes or production slowdowns.
- Welfare Administration: Manage worker facilities as per legal requirements, including the canteen, prayer area, washrooms and transport.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure all workers handling foam chemicals are trained on safe handling, storage, and spill containment procedures.
- Fire Safety: regularly organize fire drills and safety audits, considering the high flammability of foam materials.
D. Legal Compliance & Payroll
- Labor Laws: Ensure full compliance with the Factories Act 1934, Industrial Relations Act, and Standing Orders Ordinance.
- Statutory Payments: Oversee accurate processing of monthly payroll, Overtime (OT) calculations, and statutory deductions (EOBI, PESSI/Social Security).
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date personnel files, leave records, and medical fitness certificates for all factory staff.
3. Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, LL.B (Law degree) is a strong plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience
- At least 3 years in a manufacturing/factory environment (preferably Foam, Textile, or Chemical industries).

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
