This is not a support role. This is a builder role.

What This Role Actually Is

You will be the operational backbone of the company. You own the people, the processes, the numbers, and the culture. The CEO should be able to hand you a growth target and trust you to build the team and the systems that get us there.

If you need to be told what to do every day, this is not the role for you.

What You Will Own

Hiring & Talent Pipeline

  • Build and maintain active, warm hiring pipelines for Sales, Web Development, UI/UX, Digital Marketing, and Support roles, not just when there is a vacancy.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and your own network. We expect you to already know where good people are.
  • Run structured interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks. Present shortlists with your recommendation and reasoning.
  • Reduce time-to-hire without cutting corners on quality.
  • Track pipeline health: applicants per role, conversion rates, offer acceptance rate. Know your numbers.

People Operations

  • Own the full employee lifecycle: offer letters, contracts, NDAs, onboarding, probation reviews, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Build and enforce HR policies that are fair, clear, and actually followed.
  • Set up and run a KPI tracking system for every department. If a team member is underperforming, you should know before the CEO does.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones and team check-ins. Resolve conflicts early, professionally, and privately.
  • Build an office culture where people want to come in, do great work, and stay.

Business Operations & Finance

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping using accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar). This is a hard requirement.
  • Track payroll, expenses, vendor payments, and petty cash. Keep clean records.
  • Monitor monthly P&L at an operational level and flag anomalies to leadership.
  • Maintain visibility on sales activity. You should know which deals are open, which are stalling, and where the team needs support. You are not selling but you are watching.
  • Manage HR and operations tools: Odoo, Zoho People, or equivalent.

Systems & Culture

  • Document processes. If something only exists in someone's head, your job is to get it out of there and into a system.
  • Create SOPs for recurring HR and ops tasks so the company does not break when a person leaves.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and bring solutions, not just problems.
  • Hold people accountable to deadlines, attendance, and commitments without micromanaging.

What You Must Have

  • Minimum 2 years in an HR or operations role inside a software house or digital agency. Not a traditional company. A tech company.
  • Hands-on bookkeeping experience on any accounting software. You will be tested on this.
  • Proven experience building recruitment pipelines for technical and non-technical roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment contracts, NDAs, and HR policy documentation in a Pakistan context.
  • Familiarity with at least one HRMS platform: Odoo, Zoho People, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
  • High ownership mentality. You should be embarrassed when something falls through the cracks.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience tracking sales pipelines or supporting a sales team operationally.
  • Exposure to performance management frameworks like OKRs.
  • Prior experience building an HR function from scratch rather than inheriting one.

  • Location: Block A, North Nazimabad, Karachi (on-site, no hybrid)
  • Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month
