About the Role
The HRBP (Manager) acts as a strategic people partner to business leaders, driving employee engagement, strengthening employee relations, and ensuring disciplined people practices. This role requires strong facilitation skills, maturity in handling performance conversations, and the ability to proactively manage engagement and culture initiatives. Success in this role is defined by trusted partnerships, strong execution, and measurable people outcomes.

What You Will Do
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Own and drive the employee engagement strategy aligned with business priorities
  • Lead employee engagement and pulse surveys end-to-end (design, rollout, analysis, action planning, and tracking)
  • Create and manage the annual engagement calendar with impactful initiatives
  • Conceptualize, conduct, or facilitate open houses, all-hands meetings, townhalls, and employee forums
  • Partner with leadership to convert survey insights into measurable improvements
Employee Relations & Performance Discipline
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, grievances, and sensitive people matters
  • Lead performance discipline conversations including corrective actions, PIPs, and behavior-based interventions
  • Coach managers on handling difficult conversations with fairness and consistency
  • Ensure alignment with HR policies, compliance requirements, and organizational values
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Oversee end-to-end onboarding to ensure strong early engagement and integration
  • Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, insights analysis, and risk mitigation
HR Operations, Reporting & MIS
  • Own HR MIS, dashboards, and leadership reports
  • Track and analyze trends related to engagement, attrition, performance, and employee feedback
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and timely reporting
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders and employees
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Payroll, and HR Operations teams
  • Act as a proactive, solution-oriented HR partner—decisive and agile

What We Are Looking For
  • Strong experience in employee engagement strategies, engagement calendars, and surveys
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance discipline
  • Experience facilitating townhalls, open houses, and all-hands meetings
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • High agility, proactiveness, and comfort in handling ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills with HR reporting and MIS
Essential Technical Skills
  • MS Word: Policy drafting, documentation, HR communications
  • MS Excel: HR MIS, dashboards, data analysis, trackers (mandatory)
  • MS PowerPoint: Leadership decks, engagement presentations, survey insights

Education & Experience
  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
  • 8–12 years of relevant HRBP experience
