Role description

Job Title: ServiceNow Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking for a ServiceNow Project Manager who is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ServiceNow projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and ServiceNow consultants to ensure successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions across IT and business processes.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, strong project management experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members, including ServiceNow consultants, developers, and administrators.
Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, executives, and technical teams.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
Conduct project status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive briefings.
3. Delivery & Quality Assurance
Ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, or custom modules.
Monitor project performance against KPIs, quality standards, and ServiceNow best practices.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and post-implementation support.
Ensure proper documentation of project artifacts, including project plans, test cases, and user manuals.
4. Risk & Change Management
Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Manage change requests and scope adjustments in collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and ITIL processes.
5. Continuous Improvement
Evaluate project outcomes and identify lessons learned for future ServiceNow initiatives.
Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and platform enhancements.
Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to advise on best practices.

Required Skills & Expertise:
Project Management Skills: Strong experience in planning, executing, and delivering IT projects.
ServiceNow Knowledge: Familiarity with ServiceNow modules, implementation methodologies, and platform capabilities.
Technical Understanding: Understanding of workflows, integrations, scripting, and ITSM processes (ITIL).
Leadership & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
Problem Solving: Ability to proactively identify issues, risks, and solutions.
Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management approaches.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
ServiceNow System Administrator or Implementation Specialist certifications
Experience Requirements:
5-10+ years of experience in ServiceNow Project Management.
Proven track record of successfully managing ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
Experience in cross-functional team leadership, managing both technical and business resources.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, enterprise IT systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
