Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead Fixed Assets and Inventory Management (FAIM) functions, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, compliance with accounting standards, and delivery of high-quality assurance and advisory services. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead Fixed Assets and Inventory reconciliations, including complex reviews and adjustments.
- Manage assurance engagements, proposals, and advisory assignments related to FAIM.
- Review, design, and implement internal controls, SOPs, and policies.
- Oversee physical asset verifications and inventory counts.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and analytical insights for senior stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and clients effectively.
Technical & Skill Requirements
- Strong expertise in reconciliations, assurance, and advisory engagements related to Fixed Assets & Inventory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI; exposure to AI-based tools is an added advantage.
- Strong command of Microsoft PowerPoint and report writing.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
- Qualified CA or ACCA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Fixed Assets and Inventory Management.
