If so, State Fund’s Claims department has an immediate opening for a Claims Manager in our Vacaville State Contract Services program. The successful candidate will be a team builder and leader with proven technical expertise and the ability to work cooperatively, yet independently. This is a unique opportunity to be a member of our enthusiastic and dedicated Claims Management team.

This position requires the ability to:

  • Manage (plan, organize, direct and control) units responsible for pro-actively adjusting, finalizing and controlling a case assignment and/or (a) specialized assignment(s)
  • Ensure timely and accurate liability decisions and benefit provisions
  • Ensure timely, current, accurate, and adequate estimates and case documentation to protect the fiscal integrity of State Fund
  • Manage and coordinate special projects
  • Develop and oversee implementation of strategic and budgetary goals
  • Promote coordination and consistency among various adjusting locations, Corporate Claims
  • Contribute to task force projects claims related issues


Desirable Qualifications:

  • 4 years of workers compensation claims adjusting experience 2+ years of mid-level managerial experience is preferred

Working Conditions

The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.
