Position: Manager III, Ops Engineering (multiple positions available)
Location: Seattle, Washington

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Work with key business and engineering stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and business roadmap for facility design and automation.
2. Apply professional and technical expertise in engineering to lead, plan, organize and coordinate the activities of a multidisciplinary design team during requirement definition, concept, detail design, and implementation phases of facility design projects to improve measures associated with capacity, cost, quality, service, safety, and people.
3. Coordinate and lead all aspects of change management including stakeholder engagement, consensus building, transition planning, monitoring & control related to new facility and equipment planning.
4. Provide technical skills and expertise to develop, model, simulate, optimize, design, and install sortation systems and processes.
5. Oversee the collection of data required for various projects and conducts studies or analyses using this data.
6. Use proven simulation and project management tools in the analysis of business solutions and provides comprehensive reports and recommendations.
7. Provide engineering expertise in the use of proper technology to assess space requirements, work methods and health and safety solutions.
8. Use proven financial evaluation methods and data-based engineering analyses to properly evaluate project feasibility, risks, and benefits.
9. Participate in cost reduction efforts by analyzing proposals to determine viability, operations impact and return on investment.
10. Lead and manage a team of 6-8 operations engineers.
11. Domestic travel required up to 80% of the time. 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $142,800.00/year to $ 193,200.00/year)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM related discipline and 3 years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or other STEM related discipline and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and three years of experience.

Must have one year of experience in the following skills:

1) Directly managing and responsible for large material handling or automation projects.
2) Lead and manage a team of 6-8 engineers.
3) Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as complex material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines.
4) Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project and Outlook.
5) CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.).

The pay range for this position in Seattle, Washington is $142,800.00/year to $ 193,200.00/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
