Manager - Import Export Logistics

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Import Export Logistics to lead and manage all import and export operations within the perfumes and cosmetics sector. The role requires in-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, UAE customs procedures, and a strong understanding of the nuances of handling fragrance and cosmetic products. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods across global markets while coordinating with internal departments, freight partners, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:Import & Export Operations:

• Manage end-to-end international logistics, including sea, air, and road shipments for raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and promotional items.
• Plan and coordinate daily shipping schedules, consolidations, and container planning in line with production and sales timelines.
• Supervise customs clearance processes for both imports and exports in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Ensure timely execution of documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, MSDS, and other regulatory paperwork.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, including Dubai Customs, MOH, Dubai Municipality, and international dangerous goods handling (where applicable).
• Monitor changes in trade regulations, HS codes, tariffs, and import/export restrictions specific to perfumes and cosmetics.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to optimize performance and service levels.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with shipping lines, transporters, and warehousing partners.

Cost & Performance Management:

• Track freight costs and customs duties; identify opportunities to reduce logistics expenses without compromising service.
• Prepare reports and KPIs on shipment status, lead times, cost savings, and compliance.

Product Handling & Documentation:

• Ensure correct handling of temperature-sensitive or flammable items as per IATA/DG standards for perfumes and cosmetic goods.
• Maintain records for audits, including shipping documents, declarations, permits, and clearance certificates.

Team Management:

• Lead a team of import/export officers and logistics executives, providing guidance, support, and training.
• Build a high-performance logistics team aligned with organizational goals.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
