Job Description:

Manages World Class Revenue Cycle initiatives, acting as a resource to hospital revenue cycle departments, Single Billing Office, and centralized business offices. Creates, maintains, and monitors best practice workflows in coordination with Revenue Cycle leaders and communicates these workflows to the field. Manages the core revenue cycle system and related applications, alerting leaders to best practice deviations, system failures, or improvement opportunities. Assists in developing and monitoring key performance indicators in revenue cycle management and facilitates communication of these KPIs to leadership. Supervises Single Billing Office performance against service level agreements to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate patient billing activities. Travels to World Class Revenue Cycle centers to support operations, new facility system activations, and best practice initiatives. Assists Revenue Cycle leaders in testing and developing new processes and software applications, ensuring correct utilization in the field. Creates policies and procedures that support World Class Revenue Cycle operations. Collaborates with Corporate Revenue Cycle educators to develop current and meaningful training documentation. Acts as a subject matter expert in core systems and revenue cycle applications that support operations. Collaborates with Corporate Revenue Management Data Analytics team on billing-related reporting enhancements. Works with other revenue cycle operations areas to support revenue cycle initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 4+ of experience in hospital or physician billing, patient financial services, or related area [Required]
  • Previous management/supervisory experience [Required]

Pay Range:

$60,151.66 - $111,886.39
