Overview


The Project Manager will collaborate closely with IPC’s Supply Chain functions and the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico Subway marketing, transformation, analytics, and innovation teams. The role will be responsible for leading Integrated Business Planning process and related deliverables.

This role will drive cross-functional alignment regarding Subway marketing, menu and testing events amongst the key stakeholders, leveraging a shared event inventory authorization process. Make recommendations to various stakeholders in the business regarding forecasts and supply strategy. Monitors the POS performance and POS forecast accuracy of all Subway events, makes recommendations for improvements, and conducts root cause analysis of issues to drive continuous improvement.

Supply Chain planning oversight for SUBWAY marketing and culinary innovation events. Facilitate coordination of launch feasibility studies and related timelines between the Integrated Planning team, sourcing, Logistics, COE and distribution teams. Responsible for oversight and standardization of project management tools.

  • Interact with multiple functions and levels of leadership to lead the IBP process, including the IBP weekly meetings.
  • Responsible for the creation and alignment of the Event Inventory Authorization process, gaining input from IPC & Subway stakeholders.
  • Drive IPC cross-functional collaboration and alignment with Subway to create accurate demand inputs for the integrated supply chain category planners.
  • Partner with Subway teams to ensure alignment on promotional activity, new product launches, item transitions, depletions, and other demand drivers.
  • Works closely with the Integrated Supply Chain Planning Manger to collect inputs and outputs that support all related IBP monthly documentation, including powerpoint decks, weekly reports, inventory liability tracking, and performance measures.
  • Continuously evolve the IBP strategy to align with business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) or related OKR’s to identify areas of improvement and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Strategically evaluates risks and opportunities, collaborating with IPC & Subway teams as needed to determine contingency options and trade-offs.
  • Work closely with Subway peers to prioritize business and information needs by attending cross-functional meetings led by the Subway U.S, Canada and PR teams.
  • Lead event readiness process with the Supply Chain Team to ensure that timelines and milestones are communicated and achieved.
  • Governance for key Supply Chain milestones and deliverables related to Subway marketing calendar events and tests.
  • Manage multiple, and at times, conflicting priorities leading to optimal results for the organization.
  • Required to work with different departments within the organization, and with Subway, on both collecting data and then utilizing it in outbound communications.
  • Develop and present “what-if” scenario planning to support strategic decision-making during demand fluctuations or supply disruptions.
  • Lead change initiatives related to supply chain and planning processes, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
  • Lead product depletion efforts by tracking status updates and coordinating communications to minimize inventory liabilities.

Qualifications and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated progression in a Supply Chain Planning role, mandatory.
  • Strong working experience as part of a formal S&OP or Integrated Business Planning process, required.
  • 1 + year experience using an end-to-end supply chain solution and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP'S), preferred.
  • Advanced in using a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Micro Strategy, Tableau, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) and Business Intelligence, preferred.
  • Demonstrated working experience with Limited Time Offer items, preferred.


Leadership Responsibility


No Supervisory responsibility.


Travel


This job does not require international travel. Occasionally, local travel within driving distance, and overnight domestic travel may be required.

This is a full-time position. Standard office hours are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This position may require additional work hours outside these work hours, including weekends, to complete job requirements.
