Manager - Internal Audit

About the Role
The Hunar Foundation is seeking a Manager – Internal Audit to strengthen our governance, compliance, and risk management framework. This role offers an opportunity to drive organizational integrity and accountability while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute annual audit plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls.
• Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and compliance practices.
• Draft and review audit reports with the Head of Internal Audit.
• Supervise and guide audit staff in methodologies and best practices.
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
• Conduct special audits and investigations as required.
• Travel within and outside the city for audit purposes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• CIMA/CMA, ACCA (Finalist), or CA (Finalist)
• 4–5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field

Skills:

• Strong internal audit & risk assessment expertise
• Report writing & analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
