Manager internal Audit

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager – Internal Audit to lead our internal audit function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency across all departments.

This position requires strong analytical thinking, professional integrity, and the ability to provide valuable recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan in line with company objectives.
• Lead, supervise, and review the work of the internal audit team.
• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across various business functions.
• Identify and assess risk areas and propose effective internal control measures.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and internal systems.
• Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, and statutory regulations.
• Advise management on improving internal systems, processes, and controls.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, or
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA (Finalist/Qualified), CIA, or CIMA.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong command over audit methodologies, internal control frameworks, and risk assessment tools.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and audit management software.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, ISA, and local financial regulations.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and report-writing ability.
• High level of integrity, independence, and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
