We are looking for an experienced Manager Internal Audit to oversee and strengthen internal audit functions within our battery manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring robust internal controls, compliance, operational efficiency, and risk management across manufacturing plants, warehouses, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute internal audits covering manufacturing operations, inventory, procurement, production, sales, and finance.
  • Review and assess internal controls related to raw material usage, production processes, wastage, yield, and cost controls.
  • Evaluate compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and industry regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
  • Conduct audits of stock management, including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and scrap.
  • Analyze production costs, variances, and operational efficiencies to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
  • Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and plant management.
  • Lead and mentor audit team members and ensure audit quality and timelines.
  • Support management with advisory reviews and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CA / ACCA / MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk assessment techniques.
