Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)

1. ERP Development & System Management

  • Be the Tech Lead: Act as the primary interface between the Software Development Team and IT Operations.
  • Infrastructure Support: Manage and provision the necessary Development, Staging, and Production server environments for the in-house ERP system.
  • Database Oversight: Provide expert support for ERP database administration, including optimization, replication, backup, and recovery procedures.
  • Deployment: Oversee the secure and seamless deployment of new ERP modules and updates across all 5 mill locations using strict change management protocols.

2. Infrastructure, Network & Security

  • Multi-Unit Management: Oversee the IT infrastructure (servers, network, storage) across the Head Office and 5 decentralized production units.
  • Centralized Servers: Administer Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and mission-critical applications to achieve 99.9% uptime.
  • Networking: Ensure secure and high-performance LAN/WAN connectivity between all units, managing firewalls, VPNs, and network devices.
  • CCTV System: Maintain and troubleshoot the centralized CCTV monitoring system, ensuring continuous, reliable video feed linking all 5 units back to the Head Office.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and regularly test comprehensive Data Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

3. Team Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Lead the IT Support team, managing helpdesk operations, prioritizing tickets, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for all staff.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and negotiate service contracts for hardware, software, and connectivity.
  • Enforce IT policies, security protocols, and compliance standards across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Management, with significant exposure to the Textile or Manufacturing sector and multi-unit environments.
  • Mandatory Technical Experience:
  • Proven experience managing ERP systems (in-house or commercial ERP like SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).
  • Strong proficiency in Server Administration (Windows Server, Virtualization).
  • Expertise in Networking principles, configuration, and security (Firewalls, VLANs, routing).
  • Familiarity with Database Administration (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Direct experience managing physical security systems, including large-scale Networked CCTV/NVR systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills (English and Urdu).
