Job Summary
The Manager IT & Digitalization is responsible for leading the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on aligning technology solutions with business objectives, improving operational efficiency through digitalization, ensuring system security, and driving innovation across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives across business functions
- Manage IT infrastructure including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems
- Oversee ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise systems implementation and optimization
- Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, backups, and disaster recovery plans
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners
- Monitor IT budgets, licensing, and cost optimization
- Lead, mentor, and manage IT team members
- Ensure system availability, performance, and uptime
- Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance business efficiency
Digitalization & Automation Responsibilities
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation
- Implement digital workflows, paperless systems, and cloud-based solutions
- Drive data analytics, dashboards, and reporting systems for management
- Support Industry 4.0, IoT, or smart manufacturing initiatives (where applicable)
- Improve customer and employee digital experience
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, etc.)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
- Experience in digital transformation and process automation
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
- 6–10 years of progressive IT experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Microsoft, SAP) are a plus
