Manager, Learner Communications

Position Summary:

The Manager, Learner Communications is responsible for the creation of content and communications directed specifically toward learners while maintaining consistency in the messaging, tone, and voice of the organization's culture and mission components. The Manager, Learner Communications will create and implement strategies for raising and strengthening the positive image and brand equity of the organization, internally and externally to further the organization's mission outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees execution of the communication plan, including the development, organization, and dispersion of brand- and mission-driven stories, materials, and resources to appropriate learner communication channels.
  • Assists other functions in the development and execution of learner communications and cross-functional projects.
  • Edits information written by other team members to ensure clarity, comprehension, consistency, accuracy, alignment with brand and voice, and compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory agencies.
  • Manages production of annual College Catalog.
  • Manages other members of the Learner and Alumni Communications function.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in PR, Journalism, Communications, or related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working to develop professional communications.
  • Demonstrated a minimum of five (5) years of experience in brand, reputation, and image management strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
