  • Job Summary
Be a part of the Entertainment business legal team and provide legal support on channels assigned.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Contract negotiation & finalization – review and finalize multiple categories of contracts for Hindi GEC business including content licensing, production agreements, artist agreements, consultants/retainer/ service provider and marketing arrangements etc.
  • Assist and advise business and commercial team(s) regarding various legal issues including IP, content and rights advisory
  • Database and Inventory Management- Conduct due diligence, rights check and maintain internal documentation
  • Assisting senior legal members for streamlining legal processes/ SOPs and standardization of legal templates
  • Co-ordinate and work with multiple teams within the organization including inter-function and intra-function.

  • Key Skills
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
  • Good understanding of media related laws including Copyright Act, Trademarks Act
  • Prior relevant experience with media & entertainment organization.

  • Preferred Education & Experience
  • LLB Graduate
  • 6-8 years post qualification experience
  • Experience of working in media industry/ media companies/ production houses/ music label is preferred
