Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Manager LEADS in the Office of the Provost.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Vice Provost (Asia & UK), you will support the operation and maintenance of the Lifelong Learning Education and Development of Skills (LEADS) through a multi-sectoral/-disciplinary approach to continuing education while assisting in executing its implementation, partnership and funding plans. You will work in coordination the QTL-net and other academic units to develop and introduce new courses on the LEADS platform.

You will be responsible for:

  • contributing to building strategy, processes and systems for programmes in Lifelong Learning Education and Development of Skills (LEADS) through a multi-sectoral/-disciplinary approach
  • coordinating with QTL-net to create synergies in programmes being offered through blended and online mode
  • managing all contracts and payments related to programmes offered on LEADS
  • collaborating with IT to maintain a data base of applicants and participants in LEADS courses
  • liaising with AKDN organizations in Paksitan and globally, and with other particpants for expansion of LEADS programmes
  • leading all the marketing and communication campaign of LEADS in coordination with AKU Comms.

Requirements:

You must have:

  • a Master's degree in Information Technology, Education Technology, Business Management or relevant field from a reputable and recognised university
  • at least 5 years of relevant experience in academic administration
  • the ability to think strategically and be able to synthesize complex information
  • an understanding of continuing education and professional development programmes in AKU and globally
  • the ability to work very effectively with people from diverse backgrounds to bring them to consensus, and enable them to envision new possibilities
  • good planning and management skills
  • the ability to work in ill-defined situations, handle uncertainty (e.g. Syria) and be self-driven
  • the ability to represent AKU in a wide range of forums
  • the ability to build partnerships with external academic institutions and foundations especially in the AKDN
  • excellent digital and technological skills
  • excellent verbal and writing skills, both in English.
