Job Purpose:
The
Manager of the Supply Chain Logistics Systems & Technology
will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s Logistics Systems & Technology, ensuring real-time visibility, efficiency, and optimization across all Logistics functions. This includes overseeing the performance and development of the Logistics Systems team, which encompasses Senior Specialists and Specialists, and ensuring seamless coordination across warehousing, transportation and International Freight. The role is critical to ensuring that the company’s Logistics operations are continuously optimized, aligned with strategic goals, and deliver cost-effective solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

Operational Management: Lead the day-to-day activities of Logistics Systems & Technology, ensuring effective management of warehousing, transportation and International Freight. Ensure processes are running efficiently, with minimal disruptions.

Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop the Senior Specialists and Specialists within the Logistics Systems & Technology team. Provide clear direction and guidance, ensuring the team’s activities align with broader organizational objectives.

Process Optimization: Implement and monitor supply chain processes within the Logistics Systems & Technology to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines. Continuously identify areas for improvement in the supply chain and drive initiatives to enhance performance.

End-to-End Visibility: Ensure the integration of systems that provide real-time visibility across the supply chain, enabling prompt decision-making and early identification of potential disruptions or risks.

Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with other functional areas, including IT/System, warehousing, transport, sourcing, purchasing, business development, and sales management to ensure the seamless execution of the overall supply chain strategy.

Risk Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks across the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them. Serve as a point of escalation for resolving operational issues in real-time.

Technology Integration: Support the implementation and continuous optimization of Logistics Systems & Technology to enhance data analytics, real-time monitoring, and decision-making capabilities.

Reporting & Performance Tracking: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Logistics Systems & Technology operations. Provide regular performance updates to the Director, highlighting key challenges, successes, and areas for improvement.

Customer Focus: Ensure that Logistics Systems & Technology operations support high levels of customer satisfaction, with an emphasis on on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness to customer needs.
Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

7+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

Proven experience managing teams and coordinating across different supply chain functions (e.g., IT, System, warehousing, transportation, sourcing, purchasing).

Familiarity with integrated Logistics Systems & Technology operations or similar centralized functions.

Experience in using supply chain technology systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, etc.) and data analytics for operational optimization.

APICS CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant certifications are desirable.

Six Sigma or Lean certifications preferred.
