Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of maintenance technicians and engineers. This includes managing work schedules, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and utility systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, boilers, CO2, Genset & Mechanical Workshop). This involves conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns to implement lasting solutions.
- Manage the maintenance budget (OPEX and CAPEX), control spare parts inventory, and negotiate contracts with external vendors and contractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local legislative, occupational health and safety (OH&S), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in the planning and execution of capital projects, including the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a maintenance management in the food/beverages industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including PLCs, and proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and upper management.
