Manager, Manufacturing Engineering

This is a high-impact role where you’ll connect product design with high-volume manufacturing , driving process development, equipment deployment, and production ramp-up.

You’ll build and lead a strong engineering team while owning the end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle —from early design input through full-scale production.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team for pack assembly
• Design, implement, and optimize assembly processes for battery modules and packs
• Own equipment strategy—specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning (URS, FAT/SAT)
• Drive continuous improvement across efficiency, quality, and cost
• Partner with design engineering to ensure DFM/DFA-ready products
• Lead product launches from concept through production ramp
• Collaborate with suppliers, integrators, and internal stakeholders
• Manage projects, timelines, and deliverables using tools like Jira

What You Bring

• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, including team leadership experience AND experience with manufacturing of batteries
• Strong background in process development, equipment commissioning, and production scale-up
• Expertise in lean manufacturing and high-volume operations
• Proven ability to lead full lifecycle manufacturing projects
• Experience collaborating with design teams on manufacturability
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing)
