Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the building materials sector. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical product capabilities and market needs, driving demand through three critical channels: Specification (Architects/Designers), Trade (Contractors/Distributors), and Direct Consumer(Homeowners/End-users).

You will be responsible for developing the brand strategy, managing product launches, and creating technical marketing collateral that helps our sales team secure project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase market share in residential and commercial construction sectors.
  • Conduct market research to monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging building trends (e.g., sustainability/LEED certification).
  • Define product positioning and "Unique Selling Propositions" (USPs) for different segments (e.g., durability for contractors vs. aesthetics for architects).

2. Specification & Project Marketing (B2B)

  • Create targeted campaigns to get products "specified" in architectural blueprints and vendor lists.
  • Organize and manage participation in major trade shows, architecture expos, and industry events.
  • Develop Continuing Education (CPD) presentations to educate architects and engineers on product technicalities.

3. Channel & Trade Support

  • Design point-of-sale (POS) displays, sample kits, and brochures for dealer showrooms and hardware stores.
  • Launch loyalty programs or incentive schemes for contractors and fabricators to encourage repeat usage.
  • Equip the sales team with battle cards, case studies, and technical data sheets to overcome objections in the field.

4. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Manage the company website, ensuring it serves as a resource hub (hosting CAD drawings, BIM objects, and installation videos).
  • Run targeted lead generation campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google PPC) aimed at developers and project managers.
  • Oversee social media content, showcasing "Before & After" project transformations and site progress shots.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Architecture/Civil Engineering .
  • Experience: 1 year of marketing experience, with knowledge specifically in building materials, interior design products, or construction.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction terminology, specification processes, and dealing with influencers (Architects, Interior Designers, PMCs).
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in CRM tools
  • Strong ability to translate technical specifications into compelling marketing copy.
  • Experience managing budgets for trade shows and print collateral.
