The Opportunity
The Manager, Mortgage Closings & Funding plays a critical leadership role in ensuring a seamless, compliant, and high‑quality mortgage closing, funding, delivery, and construction process. This role leads and develops operational teams while driving efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional service aligned with the Credit Union’s mission and strategic goals. The Manager partners cross‑functionally to support operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Service Excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop teams across Closing, Funding, Delivery, and Construction
- Monitor performance, provide feedback, and ensure high‑quality member, partner, and vendor service
- Promote the Credit Union’s mission, values, and MVP 1‑Team culture
Mortgage Closing, Funding & Delivery
- Oversee preparation and review of closing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure loans are closed, funded, and delivered within service level standards
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
Post‑Closing & Investor Management
- Oversee post‑closing activities, investor delivery, and securitization
- Manage suspense items and ensure loans meet investor and compliance requirements
Compliance, Reporting & Collaboration
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards
- Review loan data, documents, and fees for accuracy
- Partner with AVP, Mortgage Operations and Accounting on reporting, reconciliation, and operational improvements
Construction Administration
- Lead development and oversight of construction administration processes
- Drive change management and risk mitigation efforts
