Manager New Business Development and Strategy - Distributor Markets

Meet the team:

We are seeking a highly driven New Business Development and Strategy Manager to lead Dexcom’s distributor‑driven growth across the Gulf region and newly developing markets in North Africa. This role is responsible for opening new markets, building and managing strategic distributor relationships, and driving the penetration of Dexcom’s CGM portfolio across countries with high growth potential.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position combines strategic execution, commercial excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration with Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and internal commercial teams.

Where you come in:

  • You lead market entry and expansion across GCC and North Africa , establishing Dexcom’s presence in new territories
  • You drive the launch and commercial penetration of Dexcom solutions in early‑stage and developing markets
  • You develop and execute distributor market‑entry strategies, including pricing, forecasting, and channel optimization
  • You act as the primary business partner for distributors, ensuring alignment and strong execution across assigned countries
  • You support and guide distributors to achieve sales targets, maintain brand consistency, and deliver on Dexcom’s commercial strategy
  • You shape short‑ and long‑term growth plans through strategic analysis of market dynamics, competition, and emerging opportunities
  • You collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and internal teams to enable successful launches and customer‑facing initiatives
  • You provide accurate forecasting, insights, and structured feedback to internal stakeholders, ensuring data‑driven performance management.

What makes you successful:

  • You have minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role managing distributors in the GCC
  • You bring a track record of opening and developing new markets
  • You have strong communication, analytical, and relationship‑building skills
  • Your ability to influence cross‑functional teams and external partners is excellent
  • You are a strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability
  • You have strong command of English.

Travel Required: 50 to 75%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
  • Experience in medical device industry and diabetes care is desirable
  • Background in sales or marketing with proven commercial results in distributor markets.
