MAA is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager of Aeronautical Revenue (Commercial Management Officer V) within the Office of Commercial Management at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Developing and managing revenue-producing contracts with airlines, airline support tenants including FBO and cargo building operators, government agencies and other commercial operators at BWI Marshall Airport.
Coordinating and participating in the Use and Lease Agreements (ULA) negotiations with BWI Marshall Airport Signatory Airlines; preparing the Competition Plan Update to summarize new agreement to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Tracking all airport space assignments, classifications and Inventory.
Coordinating airline and other tenant relocations and facility projects for airport development.
Preparing and monitoring a master list of all commercial leases and license agreements, including material terms and dates.
Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Eight years of experience developing and writing and/or monitoring commercial contracts, leases, and/or concessions OR eight years property management experience OR eight years professional airport or maritime leasing experience. Three years of this experience must have involved the supervision of other employees or exercising responsibility for program development.
Notes:
1. Additional directly related work experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education. Directly related experience is defined as developing, writing, and/or monitoring contracts, leases, and/or concessions for an airport operation or maritime operation.
2. Possession of sixty semester credit hours from an accredited college or university plus ten years of related experience developing, writing and/or monitoring contracts, leases, and/or concessions for an airport operation or maritime operation may be substituted for the required education and experience.
3. Possession of a law degree or Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required work experience.
4. U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as defined under the Minimum Qualifications may be substituted for the required education and experience on a year-for-year basis.Employees in this classification may be assigned duties that require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess and maintain a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland as a condition of employment.
