As we expand, we are seeking a candidate to lead the optimization and integrity of financial reporting processes and accounting systems to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable business insights.

Position Overview

The Manager of Financial Reporting & Accounting Systems oversees the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the organization’s financial reporting processes and accounting technology landscape. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business leadership to enhance reporting capabilities, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This position is highly cross‑functional, partnering closely with Corporate Finance, FP&A, and IT/Systems teams. As time and priorities permit, the role will be actively involved in broader Corporate Finance & Accounting activities—including budgeting support, financial analysis, process improvements, system enhancements, and enterprise‑wide projects. The ideal candidate is both detail‑oriented and systems‑minded, with a strong ability to collaborate across departments and translate business needs into accurate financial and system outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT on the end‑to‑end implementation of new ERP systems, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
  • Manage the configuration, administration, and optimization of accounting systems (ERP, consolidation tools, reporting platforms).
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement system enhancements, integrations, and new functionality.
  • Oversee data migration, validation, and system integrations to ensure a seamless transition from legacy platforms.

· Troubleshoot system issues and serve as the primary escalation point for finance systems.

· Ensure accurate assessment, reporting, and understanding of the financial impact of Work in Progress (WIP), inventory levels, and operational activities, including ongoing tracking and analysis to support informed business decisions.

· Act as a liaison between Accounting/Finance and Technology teams to translate business needs into system solutions

  • Provide training, documentation, and guidance to accounting and finance teams on system usage and best practices.
  • Evaluate new technologies, reporting tools, and automation opportunities to support scale and efficiency.

· Support M&A integration activities, including system migration, reporting alignment, and process standardization

  • Support compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Assist in overseeing the full month‑end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Manage the preparation, review, and approval of key journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, allocations, and reclasses.
  • Ensure all subsidiary ledgers (AP, AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Projects) are properly closed and reconciled.
  • Support annual and periodic financial audits, including preparing required reports, gathering supporting documents, coordinating with internal teams, and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Execute additional accounting and financial responsibilities as needed to support department operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, or finance systems management.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial close processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Service Titan, Quickbooks) and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools to build automated, scalable reporting dashboards and streamline data transformation preferable.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead system-driven transformation initiatives.
  • Experience documenting and standardizing business processes to ensure accounting and field operations are utilizing systems consistently and accurately.

Compensation & Benefits
