Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager for a full-time, day-shift leadership opportunity in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The Labor & Delivery Nurse Manager ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the daily operations, staffing, and clinical performance of the Labor & Delivery unit. This role is responsible for monitoring and evaluating nursing care delivery in accordance with established policies and procedures, holding staff accountable for quality outcomes, and supporting facility objectives related to patient safety, clinical excellence, and team engagement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Hold staff accountable for quality, safety, and clinical outcomes
• Support unit leadership, staff development, and performance management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to support patient care objectives
• Participate in on-call leadership coverage for Postpartum (PP), Antepartum (AP), and Labor & Delivery (LD) every third week, serving as escalation support for phone calls and emergency notifications

Unit & Schedule Highlights:

• Day shift
• Leadership on-call rotation every 3rd week
• Unit size: 19 Labor beds, 5 OBED beds, 3 Surgical suites
• Total FTEs: 80

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Salary Range:

– Minimum: $36.43

– Midpoint (10 years experience): $45.54

– Maximum (15+ years experience): $51.00

Requirements:

Licensure & Education:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of RECENT (within the last year) leadership experience in Labor & Delivery required
