WHO WE ARE

WomenExecs on Boards (WEoB) is a non-profit global network empowering leaders educated through Harvard Business School's corporate governance programs to drive excellence in boardrooms worldwide. Grounded in our values of Commitment, Connectivity, and Courage, we foster a collaborative culture where accomplished women invest in each other's success.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a strategic program leader who excels at both vision and execution to drive our programming initiatives and deepen member connections across our global network.

This role requires strategic thinking paired with attention to detail, overseeing everything from our flagship Annual Symposium to weekly virtual programming. You will assess member engagement, identify opportunities for growth, and execute the solutions. This includes coordinating speakers, managing event logistics, crafting communications, analyzing engagement data, and handling the administrative work that brings programs to life.

As part of a small, agile team reporting to the Network Director, you will collaborate closely with staff and volunteer leaders to deliver exceptional experiences that keep our members connected and advancing in their leadership journeys. Success in this role requires versatility. You will move seamlessly between high-level planning and hands-on execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Program & Event Management

  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person events—webinars, speaker coordination, logistics, post-event follow-through
  • Lead Annual Symposium coordination: venue and vendor management, speaker logistics, promotion, on-site execution
  • Maintain Resource Library—organize recordings, write event summaries, ensure member access

Member Engagement & Strategy

  • Identify engagement gaps and develop solutions to connect members with resources, opportunities, and each other
  • Craft email communications and manage member portal content
  • Share program highlights and member milestones on LinkedIn
  • Track participation metrics and produce reports that drive programming decisions

Collaboration

  • Partner with the Network Director and volunteer leaders to deliver programming across key initiatives
  • Work with committees and stakeholders to achieve shared goals

WAHT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of successful remote work experience with demonstrated ability to self-manage, communicate proactively, and deliver results independently
  • Experience working professionally with C-suite executives and senior leaders
  • Track record planning and executing virtual and in-person events
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Experience building community engagement
  • Balance administrative tasks with strategic thinking
  • Problem-solver who takes initiative in fast-paced environments
  • Team player who collaborates across all levels

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Zoom, and CRM platforms (Zoho preferred)
  • Experience with member portals (Circle or similar) and email marketing tools
  • Comfortable creating content in Canva or similar design tools
  • Strong with data tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Create engaging LinkedIn content

Nice to Have:

  • Background in associations, nonprofits, or membership organizations
  • Familiarity with board/committee structures and governance language
