This individual, with the assistance of a group of Talent Acquisition Specialists, will be responsible for the entire Talent Acquisition process including securing headcount approvals, managing and reporting headcount against annual operating plans, sourcing talent, interviewing and coordinating interview logistics, making and closing offers, onboarding, and managing any immigration and/or relocation needs and processes. While the position will focus on needs in Samaritan Medical Center, the position will have shared responsibility talent acquisition for Post-Acute Care.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands on talent acquisition leadership to identify, hire and on-board the best in class talent in a high volume recruitment function.
(1) works with recruiters to determine current staffing openings, set priorities and oversees recruiters’ talent strategic approach, produces forecast based on priorities and encourage recruiters and human resources assistants to meet operational needs, (2) leads with recruiters in the development of the talent acquisition strategies with key stakeholders, (3) leads and assist the employment branding initiatives in partnership with the communications and marketing department, (4) evaluates and implements improvements to centralized sourcing, (5) measures teams’ performance by reviewing, measuring, evaluating and reporting out all recruitment/selection and on-boarding process activities, (6) evaluates and measures positive candidate experience, (7) builds a cohesive team and develop staff competencies, (8) oversees the pre-planning and marketing of career fairs or other events; and (9) defines and use metrics to create automatic reports to identify areas of improvement.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field of study.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
Minimum five years’ experience in talent acquisition; previous management experience in a healthcare preferred. Proficient in using computer software programs to include Microsoft office products and Applicate Tracking System (ATS). Highly developed verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with an individual and groups of people at all levels of the organization, external individuals, groups and agencies. Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously while making appropriate decisions to assure completion of tasks on time and manage a team of employees to accomplish the talent acquisition plan. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned and work under stress. Ability to solve problems of a complex nature. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures. Professional maturity and demeanor that sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities as a leader of Samaritan Health System and represents the organization to internal and external constituents. High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality a must. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned. Ability to work under stress and high volume recruiting.
