In this role, the Dental Surgeon will be responsible for examining and providing treatment to employees and their families visiting the Health Centre, based on their medical needs. While prescribing medications, the most suitable and cost-effective brands should be recommended to maximize patient care. For surgical procedures, strict hygienic measures must be followed to ensure patient safety. All patients should be evaluated professionally to provide appropriate treatment. Additionally, referrals for panel services should be made judiciously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Examination & Diagnosis:
- Conduct oral examinations to diagnose dental and gum-related issues.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Treatment & Procedures:
- Perform dental treatments, including extractions, root canal therapy, and minor surgical procedures.
- Prescribe suitable and cost-effective medications to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ensure proper infection control and sterilization protocols for all instruments and procedures.
- Preventive & Educational Care:
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Provide counselling on diet and lifestyle choices that impact oral health.
- Panel Referrals & Monitoring:
- Assess and judiciously refer patients requiring specialized care to Panel Hospitals.
- Monitor and follow up on referred patients to ensure effective treatment and recovery.
- Compliance & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and organizational guidelines in dental practice.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized institution.
- Certification: Valid dental practicing license from the relevant regulatory authority.
- Experience: Minimum [3] years of experience in clinical dentistry. Experience in a corporate or healthcare setting is preferred.
