Job Title: Process Manager – Operations

Company: Electrosolz (ES)
Department: Operations / Production
Reports To: Founder / Operations Head
Location: On-site / Hybrid (as applicable)

Role Overview

The Process Manager – Operations is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving operational processes across Electrosolz’s end‑to‑end services, including product design, 3D printing, post‑processing, electronics integration, assembly, and small‑batch manufacturing. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with consistent quality while optimizing resources, costs, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities1. Process Planning & Optimization

  • Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all ES services.
  • Streamline workflows from client onboarding to final delivery.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement lean/process‑improvement initiatives.
  • Define KPIs for productivity, quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.

2. Project & Production Management

  • Convert client requirements into clear internal work plans and timelines.
  • Assign tasks and deadlines to design, printing, electronics, and assembly teams.
  • Monitor daily/weekly progress and ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional handoffs (CAD → printing → finishing → assembly → testing).

3. Quality Control & Compliance

  • Establish quality checkpoints for design reviews, prints, electronics, and assemblies.
  • Ensure adherence to design specs, tolerances, and client requirements.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring issues.
  • Maintain documentation for revisions, approvals, and test results.

4. Resource & Capacity Management

  • Plan machine utilization (3D printers, electronics benches, finishing areas).
  • Optimize material usage (filaments, resins, electronics components).
  • Forecast capacity for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

5. Cost & Efficiency Control

  • Track project costs vs. estimates; highlight variances early.
  • Support pricing inputs by providing realistic time and resource estimates.
  • Reduce wastage through better planning, nesting, and reuse strategies.

6. Team Coordination & Leadership

  • Guide team leads and technicians on priorities and best practices.
  • Ensure clear communication of goals, deadlines, and responsibilities.
  • Support onboarding and training of new operational staff.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

7. Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare regular operations reports (status, risks, KPIs).
  • Escalate delays, risks, or scope changes proactively.
  • Coordinate with management on planning, staffing, and investments.

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–5 years experience in operations, production, or process management (manufacturing/prototyping preferred).

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows (3D printing, electronics, assembly preferred).
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience creating SOPs, process maps, and workflow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and spreadsheets.

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Clear communication and coordination across teams.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • On‑time project delivery rate.
  • Process cycle time reduction.

  • Resource utilization efficiency.
  • Cost variance vs. estimates.

This role is critical to scaling Electrosolz operations. The Process Manager will directly influence delivery reliability, customer satisfaction, and profitability, with future growth into Operations Head / Plant Manager as the company scales.
