We are looking for a battle-hardened Operations Manager to lead our project execution. You will be responsible for taking a project from the "Design Handover" phase to "Final Client Handover."
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Management
- Timeline Management: Create and enforce strict project schedules (Gantt Charts). Ensure that "Site A" is finished before the deadline so the team can move to "Site B."
- Resource Allocation: Decide daily deployment of labor and machinery. (e.g., "Don't send the tractor to DHA today, send it to the Farmhouse project.")
- Quality Control (QC): Conduct surprise site visits to check quality. Ensure masons are laying pavers correctly and gardeners are planting according to the Architect’s drawings.
- Problem Solving: Resolve immediate on-site crises (e.g., broken water lines, wrong material delivery, police/DHA stoppage) without needing to escalate every minor issue to the CEO.
2. Supply Chain & Procurement Oversight
- Vendor Management: Negotiate rates with major suppliers (Nurseries in Pattoki, Cement/Sand suppliers, Stone yards).
- Material Verification: Implement a system to check the quality and quantity of incoming materials. (e.g., verifying that a truck of "Bhal" soil is actually good quality and not mixed with sand).
- Wastage Control: Monitor material usage to prevent theft or waste. Ensure that 100 bags of cement bought = 100 bags used effectively.
3. Cost Control & Profitability
- Budget vs. Actual: Compare the estimated cost of a project against the actual spending in real-time. Alert the Finance team if a project is going over budget before it’s too late.
- Labor Efficiency: Analyze labor output. If a task should take 3 days but took 5, investigate why and fix the bottleneck.
4. Technical Leadership
- Design Feasibility: Review Architect drawings before construction starts to flag potential practical issues (e.g., "This tree cannot survive in this corner," or "Drainage is missing here").
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Define technical standards for the team (e.g., Standard mixture ratios for mortar, standard planting depth for trees).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or Construction Management.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in Construction or Landscaping.
- Must have experience managing multiple sites simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs97,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lahore: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

- What is your notice period at your current job?
Work Location: In person
