Manager - Operations Audit

At Qiddiya Investment Company, we are pioneering the future of entertainment, sports, and culture in Saudi Arabia through our ambitious Vision 2030 giga-project. As we develop this world-class destination, we seek motivated professionals to join us in creating a vibrant and diverse community with a lasting legacy. The Manager - Operations Audit will play a critical role in enhancing operational effectiveness by leading audit activities that identify opportunities for improvement, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks across various business functions.

The Manager Operational Audit is responsible for the continuous audit coverage of Six Flags, Aquarabia parks, and other operational infrastructure assets. Working collaboratively with internal auditors and external consultants, the role executes ongoing operational and HSE audit activities, contributes findings and risk insights to management reporting, and supports the development of the annual risk-based audit plan by providing ground-level operational risk intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a continuous audit program across Six Flags, Aquarabia, and other operational infrastructure assets, covering operational controls, HSE compliance, safety management systems, maintenance governance, and operational process effectiveness on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with internal auditors and external consultants to ensure coordinated audit coverage, consistent methodology, and efficient delivery across all assigned entities
  • Conduct fieldwork including site inspections, process walkthroughs, document reviews, and stakeholder interviews — identifying control deficiencies, compliance gaps, and operational risks, and translating them into well-evidenced, risk-rated findings and practical recommendations
  • Assess the adequacy of HSE governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, hazard identification processes, and operational safety controls — including ride safety, maintenance protocols, emergency response preparedness, and incident management
  • Prepare clear, well-structured audit reports and periodic status updates for the Senior Manager, and communicate findings and recommendations to operational management in a professional and constructive manner
  • Track agreed management actions and maintain a live status of open findings, ensuring timely and effective remediation across the continuous audit program

Requirements

  • The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering — Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline is required, with 7+ years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment programs, HSE audits, emergency drills, and HSE-related events
  • Professional audit and occupational health & safety certifications, such as risk certifications, are preferred
