Manager, Ops Support

Summary of Job Description:

The Operations Support Project Manager is responsible for managing cross-functional Operations-related projects, managing the project budget and providing project, technical, and business leadership. The Project Manager oversees the creation of project plans and determines project scope and deliverables as well as resource allocation. This position also identifies new projects needed to enhance Operations or meet Operations business needs and may serve as the project sponsor if the project is managed by a different function. This position contributes to strategic planning for Operations Services and serves as an Operational consultant to other departments. The Operations Support Project Manager develops or contributes to development of new Operations processes and procedures.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates, executes, and monitors cross-functional projects, including setting standards and goals. Provides project, technical, and business leadership.
  • Manages the project budget and oversees the creation of project plans. Determines project scope and deliverables as well as resource allocation. Assigns responsibilities and develops timeframes to facilitate successful completion of the project.
  • Identifies new projects needed to enhance Operations or meet Operations business needs. Serves as project lead and sponsor for multi-functional projects managed by other functions. Ensures initiation of project and successful project outcomes.
  • Contributes Operations Support component to Operations Services five-year strategic plan, including identification of needed new technology and associated costs.
  • Serves as Operational consultant to other departments in representing Operations perspective.
  • Ensures Operations Support staff provides effective support to Operations Services and to Operations. Provides effective and timely response to issues identified by Operations.
  • Develops or contributes to development of new processes and procedures for Operations, working collaboratively with other departments and with Operations leadership.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Operations management experience (ACO or higher)
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience, with increasing managerial responsibility
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.


Pay Range: M2: $54.08 - $75.96 / Annual

  • Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
