The Manager, Oracle Systems is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close System (FCCS) and Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS). This role oversees the implementation, configuration, optimization, and continuous improvement of both platforms to drive timely, accurate, and efficient financial consolidation, close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Serving as a key link between Finance, Accounting, and IT, the position is focused on enhancing system effectiveness, streamlining processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting evolving business needs. This role has a blend of onsite and offsite working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Oversight and Enhancement: Directs and advances daily operations, performance monitoring, configuration, integration, upgrades, and technical enhancements of FCCS and EPBCS. Ensures systems effectively support consolidation, close, planning, and reporting in alignment with evolving business, compliance, and GAAP requirements. Proactively implements automation, data quality improvements, and reporting efficiencies while ensuring reliability and security.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and User Support: Partners with Finance, Accounting, IT, and FP&A teams to align system functionality with financial reporting and budgeting objectives. Provides training, documentation, and support to facilitate effective system usage across the organization.
  • Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting: Serves as primary escalation point for FCCS and EPBCS issues, working closely with technical teams to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensures that FCCS and EPBCS, along with all associated financial processes, comply with internal controls, audit mandates, and regulatory standards. Develops and maintains controls to ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy, supporting SOX compliance as required.
  • Project Leadership: Manages projects involving FCCS and EPBCS implementations, enhancements, or integrations. Leads cross-functional project teams, establishes milestones, allocates resources, and ensures project delivery within established timelines.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation: Leads initiatives to streamline and automate financial consolidation, close, planning, and reporting by leveraging FCCS and EPBCS capabilities. Collaborates with stakeholders to redesign workflows, apply best practices, and establish metrics for continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with GAAP and organizational standards.
Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in financial systems management, with at least 3–5 years specializing in Oracle FCCS, EPBCS, or similar consolidation/planning software.
  • Extensive background in financial consolidation, close, budgeting, forecasting, intercompany eliminations, and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record of managing complex system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations across multi-site or matrixed organizations.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Advanced technical knowledge of Oracle FCCS and EPBCS, or similar systems.
  • Understanding of GAAP and best practices in financial consolidation, planning, and reporting.
  • Proven ability in system integration, data mapping, and process automation to enhance reporting and consolidation efficiency.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to direct multiple projects and teams concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
