About The Opportunity

This is a multi-faceted role responsible for ideating new partners, conducting outreach, and
developing strategic partnerships that align with Grubhub’s broader brand and growth
objectives. You will work closely with internal business units on cross-functional teams
(including legal, finance, and marketing), and external stakeholders to create impactful,
integrated partnerships. You’ll think holistically about how each partnership can best connect
with the end consumer, using insights, creativity, and collaboration to deliver measurable
results.

The Impact You Will Make
  • Lead business development strategy aligned to identify, evaluate, pitch and negotiate new partnerships and revenue-generating deals that meet organizational goals and market trends.
  • Own and manage key partner relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and advocate throughout the partnership lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and partnership innovations to inform new business strategy.
  • Monitor partner performance and surface insights to inform strategic decisions and new initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal and finance departments to develop deal frameworks, term sheets, and long-term value models. Negotiate agreement terms and manage execution timelines.
  • Professionally represent the organization externally at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
  • Leverage your knowledge of industry verticals and relationships with key players to support deals across new technologies and platforms.
  • Collaborate across business units—including CRM, Brand, Creative, Loyalty, Media, Analytics, Finance, and Product Marketing—to build integrated, partnership initiatives.
  • Innovate within channels by developing new campaign concepts, promotional strategies, and messaging approaches that resonate with target audiences.
  • Present and champion ideas internally, using compelling storytelling and data to influence stakeholders.
  • Prioritize effectively, managing multiple campaign timelines and balancing strategic priorities with executional demands.
  • Analyze performance in partnership with Analytics, distilling insights to improve and maximize partnership impact.
  • Test and learn, designing roadmaps and experiments to uncover new ways to reach and convert consumers with partners.

What You Bring to the Table
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, content licensing, or strategic growth roles within media, entertainment, gaming, or consumer products
  • Proven track record leading business development and partnership strategy at the Manager or equivalent level
  • Deep expertise in tech partnership business models
  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally to bring complex deals from idea to execution
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and leading through influence
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to assess deals, partnership value and strategic fit
  • Experience negotiating and executing high-impact, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills
  • Detail-oriented and efficiency-minded
  • Creative thinker with excitement for innovative thinking
  • Cross-functional project management skills and experience working with product teams
  • Proven success to independently execute partnership deals including managing project timelines and negotiations
  • Strong presentation and deck development skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields desired
Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.

New York: $128,000 per year.

Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
