JOB PURPOSE
The Payroll & People Operations Manager leads and manages both payroll and people operations to ensure efficient HR processes and accurate, timely compensation. The role oversees payroll administration, legal compliance, and employee relations while driving operational excellence, process improvement, and collaboration across teams and government entities.
Qualifications and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field

In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws.

Proficiency in using payroll software and tools (SAP is preferred).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll, including at least 3 years of experience leading a team.

Regional experience in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Egypt
JOB RESPONSABILITIES

Lead the delivery of accurate, timely payroll and seamless people operations across all MAGRABi regions.

Manage payroll processing, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and incentive calculations, ensuring compliance and consistency.

Continuously review and enhance payroll and HR systems to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.

Oversee administration of employee benefits, including medical and social insurance, ensuring effective coordination across all regions.

Monitor and enforce adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies while advising management on required actions.

Review and prepare periodic payroll and HR financial reports, ensuring accuracy and insightful analysis across regions.

Manage internal and external payroll audits, as well as compliance reviews related to people operations and payroll tax.

Lead people operations initiatives that promote operational excellence, streamline HR processes, and strengthen employee engagement
