Role Purpose

The PJE Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting utility scale solar PV projects from the development phase through construction. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary design team, developing efficient layouts, performing site analysis, and supporting automation of design processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with design and structural engineers to ensure optimal system performance and cost efficiency across global solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management Lead and manage a team of 10-12 engineers and technical staff, oversee project assignments, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Process Automation Develop and implement automation workflows to improve design efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
• AutoCAD Layout Development Create precise and optimized solar plant layouts using NX Tracker Arabia design standards and AutoCAD.
• Slope Analysis & Mapping Conduct slope analyses and prepare slope maps using contour data with AutoCAD Civil 3D to optimize plant layout and performance.
• Bill of Materials (BoM) Preparation Prepare and validate detailed Bills of Material based on approved layouts and engineering specifications.
• Drawing & Documentation Standards Maintain design consistency and quality by adhering to established templates, CAD standards, and documentation guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in CAD design and detailing, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Optional familiarity with PVsyst, L-Pile, Staad Pro, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of drafting, detailing, and industry design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience preparing structural drawings and layouts for large scale projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
