Planning & Control Manager

Role Purpose
The Planning & Control Manager is responsible for leading and managing all planning and project control activities during the tender phase. The role ensures accurate schedules, effective cost and progress control, and timely submission of tender deliverables in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Lead and implement
planning and project control procedures
for tender activities.

Develop and maintain
baseline schedules, WBS, timelines, and milestones
for tender submissions.

Coordinate with engineering, commercial, procurement, and PMO teams to collect and validate tender inputs.

Monitor tender progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
-
Review and update schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
-
Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
-
Prepare and present
planning and control reports
to senior management.

Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and reporting processes.

Lead and support planning engineers and project control team members.

Knowledge & Experience

10–15+ years of experience in planning and project control, preferably in large-scale construction projects.

Strong experience in
tender planning and control
.

Proficiency in
Primavera P6, Microsoft Project
, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).

Proven leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
-
PMP or relevant certification is an advantage.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
