Responsibilities

Summary of Job Profile:

We’re looking for a Product Research & Development Manager who can lead the early-stage product discovery process from market analysis to product concept validation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software product lifecycles, market feasibility, and business modeling, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify feasible software product opportunities.
• Evaluate market demand, profitability potential, and scalability of proposed product ideas.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to define product strategy, roadmap, and feature priorities.
• Prepare product feasibility reports and present recommendations to senior management.
• Lead the product discovery phase from ideation to proof of concept (PoC).
• Track market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to refine product vision.
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, and design teams to ensure product direction aligns with business goals.
• Develop pricing and go-to-market strategies for proposed solutions.
  
  

Requirements

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required For The Position

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Product Management, R&D, or Software Product Strategy.
• Experience with market research, user analysis, and product feasibility assessments.
• Understanding of software development processes and technologies.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience working in a software house or startup environment.
• Familiarity with product portfolio management tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of financial modeling or ROI-based product evaluation.
