Position : Manager Production

Division : Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location : Karachi - Korangi Plant

Job Summary :

Provide support to Sr. Manager Production/dispensing and work with the team of Manufacturing & dispensing to ensure planning, organizing, executing, training, and monitoring of all activities with compliance of EQDs’ and AQs’ Policies / Procedures, Local Regulatory, cGMP requirements, EHS policies and security standing orders / code of business conduct.

Major Responsibilities :

• To perform related Manufacturing & dispensing operations as per S.O.P with proper documentation
• Accountable to meet scheduled operation due dates, daily run rates, Continuous improvement plans, etc. in a timely manner
• To expose prioritize and stimulate the reduction or elimination of non-value-added activities and to reduce scrap, rework, and shrinkage, and to increase yields
• To assist by providing information needed for measurement of KPI’s of supply side.
• To assist in root cause analysis against KPI’s results for continuous improvement of process
• Ensuring that products are packed under controlled environment, meeting all EQDs’ and AQRs’ policies, EHS and Housekeeping Standards. Assure compliance with local and Abbott rules
• To ensure in time and accurate posting of labor hours into BPCS System.
• To comply with CAPA task implementations.
• To coordinate in implementation of quality systems, training, and certification.
• To support and participate in system reviews/audits, validation, calibration, and maintenance activities.
• To ensure timely manufacturing of trail batches.
• To ensure timely completion of trainings as per Master training schedule.
• Ensuring that products are manufactured/dispensed as per specifications under controlled environment, meeting all EPO/, EHS and Housekeeping Standards. Assure compliance with local and Abbott rules.
• To comply with security standing orders / code of Business conduct.
• Maintain positive employee relations atmosphere.
• In the absence of the Manager Production, Assistant Manager Production shall act as the designated authority for smooth and efficient execution of production activities. Alternatively, the Manager Production may nominate a designee via email
• Any other work assigned by Sr. Production Manager.
  
  

Education/Knowledge & Experience :

• Science Graduate/Master; preferably Pharm D
• 5-6 years’ experience in the same capacity
• Proficient in MS Office
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills
