Project Management Office Manager in an Industrial Catering Company


Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Certifications and trainings such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are highly valued.

Industry Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in industrial catering, food services, and/or facility management.
  • Familiarity with large-scale catering operations , including remote sites like oilfields and construction camps.

Project Management Skills

  • Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation .
  • Strong skills in risk management, quality assurance, and contract management .
  • Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams , including chefs, nutritionists, logistics, and procurement teams.

Operational & Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000) and hygiene regulations.
  • Experience with logistics and supply chain management for bulk food supplies.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, catering technology, and cost control mechanisms .
  • Understanding mobilization process and sequence from contract signature till project kick starting.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to remote or challenging environments .

Tech Proficiency

  • Competency in MS Project, ERP systems, and catering management software .
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics .
  • Preferred tools for PMO: Smartsheet, Asana or Trello.

Compliance & Safety

  • Understanding of local labor laws, health & safety protocols , and compliance requirements in the regions of operation.
