Manager - Proposals

Key Responsibilities

  • Presales & Proposal Management
  • Partner with GreyOrange sales and cross delivery teams to oversee and execute all bid submissions, including drafting, coordinating, and executing high-quality proposals.
  • Understand new product lines and develop project implementation understanding for Greyorange’s future and existing customers.
  • Understand various models of engagement for proposal preparation. For example: execute projects using integrator, direct execution of projects via GO material and resources, CAPEX, RAAS/SAAS, Hybrid.
  • Lead end-to-end creation of proposals covering implementation scope, methodology, quality, timelines, material and effort estimates.
  • Manage the full proposal lifecycle from RFP review to final submission.
  • Work with cross functional team such as Sales, Product and Engineering, Supply Chain, Solution Engineering, Installation and Commissioning, and others to convert customer requirements into executable deliverables.
  • Track TAT for every proposal request to closure and success criteria.
  • Implementation Scoping & Estimation
  • Analyze customer requirements and warehouse workflows And gather technical and implementation feasibility from P&E, delivery and operations team.
  • Define clear implementation scope including installation, commissioning, UAT, go-live.
  • Develop effort and cost estimates in collaboration with Implementation leaders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Validate feasibility of assumptions in different phases of the project with Product, Hardware, Software, and Delivery teams.
  • Work with PMO and Finance to align costing and P&L.
  • Incorporate outcomes from customer workshops into proposals.
  • Collect customer requirements, warehouse data, throughput, SKUs, site constraints, and integration needs.
  • Conduct customer workshops or site visits (if required).
  • Documentation & Content Development
  • Prepare high-quality proposal documents: implementation methods, project plans, timelines, and risk registers with the help of content creation team.
  • Managing and maintaining standard documentation and repository for all previous and future proposals (includes scope, timeline, quality and cost and price)
  • Customer Engagement
  • Participate in customer discussions, clarifications, and solution walkthroughs. Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and automation deployment.
  • Experience in effort estimation, implementation planning, and cost modeling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and documentation tools.
